Deep Purple Amethyst is a natural mineral specimen. Amethyst, a type of quartz, is formed over 75 million years and can be found in geodes in alluvial deposits. The purple color is caused by ferric iron.

Mineral Specimens are approximately 2-1/2" to 4" each. Each Mineral comes with a 3-1/2" X 2" information card and is barcoded. Member of Discount Group 12.
