These Azurite Malachite Druzy specimen come in a box that contains between 8.5 lbs to 9.5 lbs. Approximate size is 1" to 3-3/4". The surface can be boytroidal, stalactitic, or druzy depending on formation conditions. A notable characteristic is azurite's gradual transformation into malachite through oxidation over time. This process, called psuedomorphism, offers results in stunningly contrasting color patterns within the stone.
